About MoniSa

What is MoniSa Enterprise?

MoniSa Enterprise is an ISO-certified language service provider and AI data services company headquartered in Udaipur, India, founded in 2015. We deliver translation and localization, AI training data, multimedia (subtitling, dubbing, voiceover), and interpretation across 300+ languages and 4,500+ dialects.

What does MoniSa do?

MoniSa runs two connected lines of work: language services (translation, localization, subtitling, dubbing, voiceover, interpretation) and AI data services (data collection, annotation, training data, and evaluation). Both are built on human linguists working under ISO-certified quality and security processes.

Who does MoniSa work with?

MoniSa serves three kinds of buyers: enterprise AI and machine-learning teams that need multilingual training and evaluation data, language service providers that need white-label rare-language capacity, and media and OTT platforms that need subtitling, dubbing, and content localization.

Where is MoniSa based?

MoniSa Enterprise is headquartered in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. The company has operated since 2015 and works with clients globally.

Is MoniSa certified?

Yes. MoniSa is certified to three international standards: ISO 9001:2015 (quality management), ISO 27001:2022 (information security), and ISO 17100:2015 (translation services). Each is audited by an accredited third party, not self-declared.

Services and capabilities

What services does MoniSa offer?

MoniSa offers four service lines: AI data services (data collection, annotation, training-data creation, and evaluation), translation and localization, multimedia (subtitling, captioning, dubbing, voiceover), and interpretation (on-site, remote, simultaneous, and consecutive).

What AI data services does MoniSa provide?

MoniSa builds and curates multilingual datasets for AI and machine-learning models: speech, text, image, video, and audio data collection; annotation and labeling; prompt creation and evaluation; and human review of AI outputs for accuracy, bias, and cultural fit. Work spans a wide range of languages, including rare ones.

Does MoniSa provide translation and localization?

Yes. MoniSa handles human translation and localization across legal, medical, technical, and marketing domains, including software, app, website, game, and e-learning localization, certified translation, and machine-translation post-editing. Every file is reviewed by a second qualified linguist under the ISO 17100 standard.

What multimedia services does MoniSa offer?

MoniSa delivers subtitling and captioning (including SDH), dubbing, voiceover, audio description, and time-coded transcription. This supports media and OTT catalog localization, regional launches, and content refresh across many languages.

Does MoniSa work with rare and indigenous languages?

Yes. Rare and indigenous language work is a core focus. MoniSa sources qualified linguists for language pairs that most vendors cannot staff, including languages with very limited specialist availability worldwide, and supports them with the same review and quality process as high-volume languages.

Security and data handling

How does MoniSa protect client data?

MoniSa data handling follows ISO 27001:2022 controls and is applied per project. Access is role-based and scoped to the task, and high-sensitivity work runs in controlled-access environments that limit copying and local retention of client data.

Does everyone who works on a project sign an NDA?

Yes. Every contributor signs a binding non-disclosure agreement before receiving any project access. The confidentiality obligation covers everyone who touches the work, including reviewers and linguists.

How does MoniSa control access to client work?

Access follows the project. It is provisioned per engagement, scoped so reviewers see only their assigned batches, and removed when the engagement closes. There is no standing access to client data outside an active project.

Who owns the work MoniSa delivers?

Deliverables are produced for the client, under confidentiality and assignment terms agreed before any work begins. The work stays the client’s.

Can MoniSa work as a white-label partner?

Yes. Where required, MoniSa delivers fully under the client-facing brand with no attribution. This lets language service providers and agencies add rare-language and surge capacity under their own name.

AI and quality

How does MoniSa use AI in its work?

MoniSa uses AI to assist the early and repetitive stages of work, such as drafting, formatting, and segmentation. AI does not decide what ships. A qualified person reviews and signs off on the final output for accuracy, meaning, terminology, tone, and cultural fit before anything reaches the client.

Can I tell MoniSa not to use AI on my project?

Yes. MoniSa runs a client-configurable AI policy set project by project. If your contract, regulator, or internal policy prohibits machine translation or generative AI, MoniSa delivers a fully human workflow, enforced through resourcing and process and stated in writing. If you permit AI, it assists the work and a human reviews the result.

Is there always a human reviewing the output?

Yes. A qualified reviewer owns the final call on every deliverable, whether or not AI touched the file. This is the same second-review principle ISO 17100 requires, applied to both language and AI-assisted work.

How does MoniSa assure quality?

Every deliverable passes independent review before it reaches the client, aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17100:2015. Work moves through separate review stages handled by different people, quality is measured against acceptance criteria agreed up front, and issues found in review are corrected and fed back before delivery. No deliverable is signed off by its own author alone.

Is my content reused beyond my project?

No. Your content is used to deliver your project and is not repurposed for unrelated work. The same access, confidentiality, and data-handling controls apply to AI-assisted work as to any other project.

Engagement and delivery

How do I start a project with MoniSa?

Send a brief with the languages, the volume, the domain, and the deadline. A short call or a one-page brief is enough to start. MoniSa confirms feasibility, maps the work to a timeline, and flags anything rare or high-risk before any commitment.

What does MoniSa need in a project brief?

Four things: the languages or language pairs you need, the approximate volume, the subject domain, and the deadline. Rough is fine at the start. Security and compliance requirements can be shared up front so MoniSa can map them to its controls before work begins.

Can I test MoniSa before committing to a full project?

Yes. MoniSa runs a pilot batch first. A small first batch is produced and reviewed in full to lock terminology, match your style, and resolve edge cases. You approve the pilot before full production opens.

How is the work delivered?

Work is delivered in rolling batches aligned to your cadence: daily, weekly, or per milestone. You review and use each batch as it ships rather than waiting on a single delivery at the end, and each batch is accepted on its own before the next begins.

Who is my point of contact during a project?

A dedicated project manager runs your engagement day to day, covering task flow, resourcing, quality, and communication. You work with one person who knows your account, and the same team carries your terminology and decisions forward as the work scales.

How does MoniSa price its work?

Pricing is scoped to each project based on the languages, volume, domain, and turnaround you need. Send a brief and MoniSa returns feasibility and a defined scope, with a pilot batch available to prove the work before you commit to full volume.

Languages and coverage

How many languages does MoniSa cover?

MoniSa covers 300+ languages and 4,500+ dialects across its service lines, spanning translation, localization, multimedia, interpretation, and AI data work.

What is the difference between a language and a dialect in MoniSa coverage?

A language such as Arabic or Swahili can have many regional dialects and variants, such as Egyptian or Gulf Arabic, or Kenyan or Tanzanian Swahili. MoniSa covers 300+ languages and 4,500+ dialects, so work can be matched to the specific regional variant your audience uses.

How does MoniSa source linguists for a language?

MoniSa draws on a global network of vetted language specialists, screened and tested before they take on work. For each project, linguists are matched to the language pair, the subject domain, and the required regional variant, and every output is checked by a second qualified reviewer.

Can MoniSa add languages to an existing project?

Yes. Languages can be added to a running engagement on the same team and the same standards, without a restart. This suits programs that begin in a few languages and expand into new regional markets over time.
