Information we collect
When you submit a project brief or contact MoniSa, we may collect your name, work email, company, phone number, project details, language requirements, deadline, and any files or context you choose to share. A submitted website form also carries technical attribution fields and the IP address received by the server.
How we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, scope the request, prepare follow-up questions, maintain communication records, improve website performance, and protect the site from misuse.
What counts as personal information
Personal information means anything that identifies you or could reasonably be linked to you. On this website that is: the name, work email, phone number and company you type into a brief; anything personal you choose to include in the project details; and the technical record attached to a submission — your IP address, the first landing-page path without its query string, the page you submitted from, the referring site, named campaign parameters, the call to action you clicked, when you were first seen, and the last qualifying service page you viewed in the current tab. That technical record is stored alongside your enquiry, so we treat it as personal information too.
Website enquiry attribution
The site keeps your first landing-page path without its query string, referring site and five named campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term) in localStorage, treating that first-touch record as valid for 30 days. When the site can read an older stored landing value that included a query string, it reduces that value to its path on a later visit. If localStorage is unavailable, first-touch storage falls back to sessionStorage for the current tab. The site also keeps the last of these three service pages you viewed in the current tab in sessionStorage: /services/genai-review/, /services/data-collection-curation/, or /services/transcription/. The last-service value is a page path, not the text you enter on a form. These first-party values are attached to an enquiry or application only when you submit a website form.
Why we are allowed to process it
For a project brief, the lawful basis is that you asked us to: the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to pursue our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry. We do not rely on consent for this, because you cannot send a brief and simultaneously withhold permission to read it. For Google Analytics 4, the basis is your consent: its tag does not load or receive measurement until you accept. First-party enquiry attribution storage described here operates separately and can be used even when you decline GA4.
Who else handles it
Google. Two services, both named: Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-REQNXRVYR2) if you accept analytics, and authenticated Gmail SMTP, which carries the notification to our team and the confirmation back to you. Our hosting provider stores the site and the enquiry records as part of running the server. That is the complete list for website enquiries — there is no advertising pixel, no chat widget, no third-party form service, and no data broker. The freelancer registration portal described further down runs on the same domain, is a separate application, and has its own short list, named there. We do not sell personal data, and we do not disclose or share enquiry information with anyone outside MoniSa except the providers named here.
Where it goes
MoniSa Enterprise Pvt Ltd operates from Udaipur, India. If you contact us from the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or anywhere else, your enquiry leaves your country. The website and the enquiry records it creates are hosted by our hosting provider on a server in the United States; the notification to our team and the confirmation to you are carried by Google, which may process them in other countries under its own infrastructure; and our team reads and answers enquiries from India. Transfers out of the UK or EEA are made on the basis of your request for pre-contractual steps and our contractual commitments to protect the data. How long we keep it
We keep website enquiry records in private storage while handling requests and follow-up. A fixed deletion period has not been verified for this website, so we do not promise a date here. Contact the privacy point of contact below to ask about the current retention status of your enquiry or to request deletion. If an enquiry becomes a project, the signed agreement may set separate terms for project records.
Your rights, and how to use them
If UK or EU GDPR applies to you, you have the right to ask for a copy of your data (access), to have it corrected (rectification), to have it deleted (erasure), to have its use paused while a dispute is resolved (restriction), to receive it in a portable format, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (the DPDP Act) gives comparable rights of access, correction, erasure and grievance redressal. To use any of them, email the contact below — no form, no fee, and no obligation to explain why. We will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with the outcome, you can complain to your national data protection authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
The freelancer registration portal
Separately from this website, MoniSa operates a registration portal at monisaenterprise.com/registration/ for freelance linguists, subject-matter experts and data-collection agents applying to join our specialist network. It is a different application with a different purpose, and if you have applied through it, this is what that involves. It collects the account details you create, the professional information you enter, and the documents you choose to upload — typically a CV, qualification or degree evidence, a profile photograph, sample recordings where the work is voice-related, and signed agreements such as a non-disclosure or payment policy. Those documents are stored on our hosting, are not published, and are not reachable by anyone who has not signed in; we verified that directly. The portal is excluded from search engines. It loads two public code libraries from jsDelivr and cdnjs to render its interface — those are the only third parties involved, and they receive no application data. Applicant records are kept while your application or engagement is active and for as long afterwards as tax, contractual and audit obligations require. Your rights over that data are the same as the rights set out above, and the same contact answers them.
IP addresses
When you submit a brief, the server stores your IP address in the private enquiry record. It also uses a hash-derived filename with a timestamp to apply a 30-second cooldown against repeat submissions. Our hosting provider may keep your IP address in standard server logs. If you consent to Google Analytics, Google receives the address through normal measurement requests under its own handling; declining analytics stops new GA4 measurement, not the server processing needed to receive your enquiry.
Opting out
Decline analytics in the consent banner to stop new Google Analytics measurement. Your consent choice is remembered in localStorage. Use Analytics preferences in the footer to reopen the consent banner and change your choice. Declining analytics does not disable first-party localStorage or sessionStorage used for enquiry attribution; those browser-held values are sent to MoniSa only when you submit a website form. The Cookie Policy explains both stores. If we have emailed you and you would rather we did not, reply asking us to stop, or email the contact below, and we will remove you from follow-up. Opting out of analytics does not affect your ability to send a brief; opting out of follow-up does not delete an enquiry you already sent, though you can ask for that separately.
